If you are looking for a place that is yet untarnished by mass tourism, Mae Phim is just the right choice for you.
Mae Phim is located only about 150 km from the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. Here you will find a nearly empty beach (4 - 5 km long), tropical climate, clear waters, and delicious Thai and European cooking.
The house is located just near the beach (about 150 metres). The shore is shallow long to the sea, and the waves are usually small, so the place is ideal for children.
You can go scuba diving in the nearby Koh Samet island. If you want to play golf, that can be done as well; you can find about a dozen golf courses about one hour drive away.
In the restaurants you can experience the aroma of spices like chili, curry and garlic. The service prices are notably lower when compared to the most frequented tourist places like Phuket, Koh Samui etc.
